Zap! THE LORD GOD curses

Share

The Google Translate feature gives us this:

Zap THE LORD GOD CURSES AND excommunications
AGAINST THOSE WHICH CONVEY OR PERMIT
WHETHER THEIR MANDATES sons and daughters YES
LEGITIMATE AS NATURAL IN THIS THE HOSPEDALE
MERCY ‘SINCE THE METHOD AND Faculty of them BREED
They ARE obligated TO COMPENSATION FOR ANY DAMAGE AND
SHOPPING MADE FOR THOSE THEY CAN BE FULFILLED
IF YOU DO NOT MEET AS CLEARLY APPEARS IN
BUBBLE OF OUR MR POPE PAUL THIRD

Which is a damn sight funnier and less threatening than the original curse on all parents that placed their infants on the foundling wheel. The carved plaque was originally adjacent and in clear sight of the desperate. It obliged them to pay, both in this life and the next.

The bubble of our Mr Pope Paul 3rd is a drawing waiting to happen.

About Me

Welcome to my portfolio website. There are two sections: one features a small selection of my work as a visual artist, the other a selection of successful projects that I curated, directed, led or project managed within arts development and the public realm.

Identity, place and space link these two areas of work. I draw on specific physical, historical and cultural environments either to inspire and locate my own work or to commission new projects for others.

I founded the b-side festival in 2008 and was Executive Director between 2012-20. During the same time I lectured on the BA Creative Events Management course at AUB and taught Fine Art at Weymouth College.

I moved back to Italy in 2020 and now live and work permanently in Sant' Elena, Venice, Italy.

A current CV can be downloaded from the 'About Me' page on this website.
